I was elected to serve on the Overland Park City Council in November of 2021. My decision to run was based on the experiences I had as a participant in Leadership Overland Park. In this program, I learned about our city's history and what makes it so special, I knew I wanted to find an opportunity to help Overland Park continue to thrive. I was preceded on the council by John Thompson and when I learned that he was not going to seek another term, I spoke with John and others and realized it was time for me to step up and make a difference.
A big part of why Cori and I chose to live in Overland Park was the great schools, overall safety, the number of recreational activities, excellent places to work, and reasonable traffic. I am excited for the opportunity represent the 5th Ward on Council and I will continue to work for you and partner with the other members of the city council to produce exceptional results which will propel Overland Park to even greater heights in the future.
